In this photo Adams creates a natural landscape. immediatly my eye is daw to the almost full moon. I think that Adams is showing that humans are such a small part of this world due to the night sky taking up over half the image. The dark tone at the front of the image contrasts to the mountains at the back. The shape created by the mountain at the front is almost a black colour giving the photo depth.

Ansel Adams creates a black and white, fantastical image consisting of many rocks all different shapes and sizes. He does this by the rays of light shining down at the top of the images and onto the rocks. He wants us to consider the different tones of greys and blacks. The way Adams uses light at the top of the image gives the impression of spirituality.
Adams has created this image of a tree covered In snow in yosemotie national park in April 1933. This image is different compared to his other landscape shots because the main subject takes up most of image instead of a landscape shot. This image looks and feels magical as the light is soft giving a delicate feel contrasting towards the rough and dark mountains in the background. This image has a lot of texture due to the fluffy snow and the rough rock.
This image consist of a large building with a black frame and multiple windows, behind many windows there are people going about there lives. This gives the viewer an insight into life in a city, however I feel a sense of loneliness due to the fact that everyone is in there own square. There is no sense of the natural environment giving the image an almost futuristic feel.
This image has been taken from a high perspective. To the right of the frame there is the sea which is a block colour contrasting towards the yellow sand of umbrellas which are lined up in different colours. the natural curve of the shoreline helps lift your gaze to the top right hand corner of the image. I think Gurksy captures this large-scale landscape of nature vs man well.
This image has been taken in a supermarket, the bright vivid colours contrast one another and are all perfectly alined. Gursky has used the rule of thirds in order to balance the photograph. In this image I feel as if Gursky is trying to show the amount people consume and how the world has changed towards plastic packaging. There is a sense of greed within this photograph.

This photo has been taken in a large empty room, it looks very plain and boring which contrasts with the other colours within the circle in the centre of the image. The colours that are chosen are very bright which standout a lot drawing your eyes to the centre of the image. Rousse is creating a surreal image,I feel as if his intentions is to create a portal to transport you somewhere else.He has manipulated this image on Photoshop in order to create this illusion.
In this image Rousse uses his knowledge of sculpture to capture the feeling of art on display. He uses a vibrant blue to bring your attention directly to the star in the forefront of the image. The view outside helps to soften the image giving a sense of nature which contrasts the stark white room.
Rousse creates a playful image. He does this by using bright colourful blocks on a plain black and white background. He wants us to consider the chaos this image presents. He uses his knowledge of architecture to use perspective to draw your eyes to the centre. The blocks are almost florescent in colour but also transparent suggesting to the viewer an unreal feel. I like this image as the colours jump out at you in a random way. This image almost doesn't make sense to me.
